Shelton starts process of redoing its master plan

The Planning and Zoning Commission will begin the process of putting together a new Ten-Year Plan of Conservation and Development (master plan) in late March.

It will be done in-house with city staff, and take about a year to complete.

The city’s last Plan of Conservation and Development was completed in 20o6, with the help of an outside consultant. The land-use planning documents are supposed to be completed every 10 years, based on state requirements.
