SHELTON WEATHER: Rain continues Thursday, snow possible Saturday

The rain is expected to continue on Thursday and Thursday night in Shelton, and snow is possible on Saturday.

But it should be warm for the new few days. The high will be in the low 50s to high 40s on Thursday and Friday, then dip into the 30s on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

On Saturday, snow is possible is the morning. Any precipitation will turn to rain by the mid-afternoon as the temperature rises.

 

Day-by-day Shelton forecast

Here is the NWS forecast for Shelton for the coming days:

Thursday:  Showers, with a high of 52 degrees.  A thunderstorm is possible at night, with a low of 39.

Friday:  Showers possible, with a high of 49. Showers could continue at night, changing to snow in the overnight. Nighttime low of 30.

Saturday:  Snow possible through 1 p.m., then turning to rain. High of 37. Overnight low of 26.

Sunday:  Sunny, with a daytime high of 44 and nighttime low of 33.
