Snow is likely on Saturday morning in Shelton, with up to an inch of accumulation possible, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The snow is most likely to come down between 9 a.m. and noon, but there’s also a chance for snow in the afternoon and early evening. The NWS said there’s 70% chance that it will snow here on Saturday.
The daytime high on Saturday will be 33 degrees, and the nighttime low should be around 21 degrees.
More snow to the north and east
While significant snow accumulation is not expected from this storm in southwestern Connecticut, that’s not the case for the north-central (Hartford) and eastern parts of the state. On Saturday, up to 3 inches of snow could fall in these parts of Connecticut as well as in most of central and eastern Massachusetts, including Boston, the NWS said.
Sunday will be sunny in Shelton, with a high around 41 degrees. There’s a slight chance of snow early Monday, the NWS said.
