Anita Davidson, age 74, of Shelton, a proud breast cancer survivor, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.
Mrs. Davidson was born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Goldberg, and was a longtime member of Congregation B’nai Torah of Trumbull.
Mrs. Davidson was a graduate of the Beth Israel School of Nursing in 1960 and went on to work for St. Vincent’s Medical Center for over 25 years.
Mrs. Davidson took great pride in volunteering for St. Vincent’s Cancer Center, Swim Across the Sound, Wesley Heights Assisted Living, and as a band nurse at Trumbull High School.
Mrs. Davidson was predeceased by her former husband, Seymour Davidson in 2012, and is survived by her devoted sons, Henry Davidson and his wife Kimberly of Shelton, Larry Davidson and his wife Lauren of Trumbull, Eric Davidson and his wife Katy Van Patten of Minnesota, her cherished sister, Roslyn Cohen-Pelletz of MA., and by her adored grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Samantha, Evan, Erin, Kaia, and Elliott.
Services will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM from The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road in Fairfield with interment following at B’nai Torah Cemetery on Reid Street in Fairfield.
