Shelton Parks and Recreation is offering a Youth Sport Conditioning Camp, which is a strength and conditioning program designed to provide athletes with an off-season training program.
Male and female athletes of any sport from incoming grades 9-12 are eligible. It will be held at Shelton High School.
Sign up at the Shelton Community Center Parks and Recreation office. Applicants must sign a waiver.
The Directors and Instructors of the camp are: Brad Piccirillo — Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, USA Certified Weightlifting Coach, Shelton High School teacher, 10+ years experience as high school strength coach, First Aide and CPR certified; Charles Fowler — Shelton High School Lacrosse Coach, 10+ years experience as high school strength coach, Shelton High School teacher, First Aide and CPR certified.

Girls Conditioning: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 7:30-9 a.m., $140
Boys Conditioning: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 9-10:30 a.m., $140
Cheerleader/Poms Conditioning: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m., $100
June 29-July 30
Boys 7-8 Grade Conditioning: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., $100
These programs will aide an athlete in improving their strength, speed, agility, and flexibility. These physical fitness characteristics will allow the athlete to become better skilled and conditioned for his or her sport, as well as provide injury prevention.
