HAVE YOU SEEN THEM? Police investigate theft of two vehicles in the Valley

Police are investigating two car thefts in a Valley community. The vehicles went missing on late Sunday or early Monday in Beacon Falls.

Shelton-StatePoliceLogoOne vehicle, a blue 2010 Honda Odyssey minivan with Connecticut license plates 743YDX, was reported taken from the driveway of a Snyder Drive residence in Beacon Falls between 1:30 and 5 a.m. on Monday, May 4.

The other vehicle, a blue, four-door 2007 Honda Civic LX with Connecticut marker plates 563TTJ, was reported taken from the driveway of a Wilson Court home in Beacon Falls between 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, and 7 a.m. on Monday, May 4.

The Honda Civic had two stickers affixed to the back left side window (“Naugatuck Valley Community College” and “Heritage Village”), and also has a small scrape to the back bumper.

Keys were left in both vehicles

State Police, including the Beacon Falls Resident Trooper’s Office, responded to the two residences and are overseeing the investigation.

Troopers remind residents to lock their vehicles and remove the keys when not in use. People also are reminded not to leave vehicles running unattended and to remove valuables in a vehicle from sight.

If anyone sees the stolen vehicles, they are asked to call police immediately. All calls will be kept confidential, according to a State Police press release.

People who may have any information regarding these incidents can call Trooper Culbertson (Troop I in Bethany) at 203-393-4200, or Trooper Henriques (Beacon Falls Resident Trooper’s Office) at 203-729-3313.
