Emergency crews respond to vehicle rollover in Shelton

A driver was taken to the hospital for possible evaluation of injuries after a morning accident involving a vehicle rollover in Shelton on Tuesday, May 12.

The accident occurred on Constitution Boulevard South near Plaskon Drive at slightly before 6:30 a.m.

A sedan being driven by a 21-year-old Stratford woman collided with a truck, went sideways, hit a curb and flipped over, landing on a grassy area near the road, according to police.

Police and other Shelton emergency personnel, including Echo Hose Fire, responded to the scene.
