The event allowed patients and their family members to reunite with staff and other former patients after returning home from a short-term rehab stay at the facility.

The reunion included a meal and brief comments by Bishop Wicke officials.

Staff were able to see the progress of their patients, who returned with greater strength and increased mobility. Many smiles, hugs, and stories were shared among participants.

Bishop Wicke Health and Rehabilitation Center is on the Wesley Village campus on Long Hill Avenue in Shelton.
