Volleyball: Shelton sweeps Cheshire

The Shelton High boys volleyball team went on the road and swept Cheshire High, 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-22) to improve to 14-1 overall.

Erik Kocur paced the Gaels with 11 kills, three digs and one ace, Grant Fevrier added nine kills, six digs and four aces and Mike Scarpa had 10 digs, one ace and one kills.

For Cheshire, Brian Fischer notched three digs and 18 assists and Mike Stickney had four kills and four blocks. The Rams dropped to 7-8.
