The Soupstock Festival has announced its 2015 music lineup, bringing together national and local touring acts and up-and-coming newcomers to the stage.

Organizers of the outdoor festival invite residents of all ages to come and have an arts, music and culinary experience.

The annual event has expanded to two days and will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21, at Veterans Memorial Park (the Riverwalk) in Shelton.

From L.A. to New Orleans

Los Angeles electro-funk powerhouse Particle will co-headline with the New Orleans funk group, Big Sam’s Funky Nation.

Returning is Ryan Montbleau, who is in the midst of his own regional tour. Also sharing top billing are Cabinet and Roots of Creation, both making their first appearance at Soupstock.

Other performers include Nardy Boy, Hayley Jane and the Primates, and Beau Sasser’s Escape Plan.

In all, 25 musical acts will be featured on the festival’s two stages this year. The complete lineup is available at the Soupstock Festival website.

Proceeds will benefit the Mary A. Schmecker Turtle Shell Fund, which supports art, craft and music education for local children and young adults.
