Two charged with possession following traffic stop

Two men were arrested by Shelton police on May 23 after a traffic stop in Shelton.

Police reports said a vehicle driven by Benjamin Ryan Murphy, 22, of 6 Fir Tree Lane, Sandy Hook, was pulled over for speeding.

After an investigation, officers charged Murphy and his passenger, Michael Neudeck, 26, of 395 Shelton Ave., Shelton, with possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school.

Both were released on written promises to appear in court.
