Artisan market is Saturday in downtown Shelton

The Downtown Handmade Market will be open Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Conti Building, 415 Howe Ave. Celebrate Shelton sponsors the events on the first Saturday of every month.

Shelton-CelebrateSheltonMore than two dozen artisans, craftsmen and small businesses showcase their wares and a local nonprofit organization is highlighted. This month’s nonprofit is the Mary A. Schmecker Turtle Shell Fund, as its gears up for Soupstock on June 20 and 21.

There also is live music, children’s activities and an outdoor hoop area. This month’s food truck is Tipsy Cones.
