LETTER: Offer monetary reward to catch Valley graffiti vandals

To the Editor:

Graffiti vandals recently did thousands of dollars in graffiti damage to the field house walls at Nolan Field in Ansonia, only two years after a vehicle had caused some $15,000 in damage by driving over Nolan Field.

The Seymour Land Trust had their property vandalized and have offered to pay a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the vandals.
Ansonia city officials should follow the reward initiative to pay for a snitch, as money “makes loose lips talk.”

It should be noted that Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti asked for an anti-graffiti ordinance four years ago when continued graffiti was reappearing on a concrete wall next to the Naugatuck River and other locations.
