Dinner to assist Shelton teen with rare disease

A fund-raising event to help a Shelton 19-year-old girl battling a rare disease will take place Thursday, June 25 from 6-10 p.m. at Vazzano’s Four Seasons, 337 Kenyon St., Stratford.

The dinner and information session will assist Anna May and her family, the Moyamoya Foundation and the Katelyn Foundation.

Anna has moyamoya syndrome, which involves arteries in the brain blocking blood flow. She is a 2014 Shelton High School graduate.

Tickets are $40 each and include dinner, with a cash bar and raffle.
