His 2013 Silverado pickup truck went about 200 feet into the adjoining woods, “coming to a position of uncontrolled final rest against a large tree,” stated the accident report.

The pickup “sustained extensive damage” to its front end, undercarriage and interior, according to the report.

Delbene was the only occupant and was not wearing a seatbelt, stated the accident report. No other vehicles are listed as being involved in the accident in the State Police report.

“The incident remains under investigation at this time,” State Police officials said.
