A 62-year-old Shelton man was arrested Monday by State Environmental Police after he allegedly exposed himself and engaged in lewd acts at a State Park.
John Boswell was arrested by Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection(DEEP) Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police after a complaint was made to state park staff at Osbornedale State Park in Derby, according to a press release.
A complaint stated that Boswell was exposing himself and engaging in lewd acts near the upper pavilion area of the park. A witness obtained Boswell’s license number when he was seen getting into his car, according to police.
Police also said the witness was later able to identify Boswell as the man he had observed earlier in the day.
Boswell was processed at the Shelton Police Department and released on $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Derby on August 8.
