Lampert, Brakettes hoist national title

The Stratford Brakettes won their sixth consecutive Women’s Major Softball National Championship with a 19-2 victory over the New York City Havoc at Frank DeLuca Hall of Fame Field on Sunday.

Team members are: Dana Jusino, Mary Sciglimpaglia, Jordan Whitley, Dani Kemp, Sarah Bencivenga, Denise Denis, Cassie Ruscz and bat girls Grace, Ella and Shelby; Mark Stramoski, Pat Sanders, Val Suto, Brandice Balschmiter, Elena Bowman, Taylor Moss, Shannon Smith, Emily Lochten, Sydney Matzko, Laura Ricciardone, Tatum Buckley, Brittany Lampert, Katie Petroski and manager John Stratton.
