Obituary: Alton Benjamin Bryant, 83, of Shelton

Alton Benjamin Bryant, 83, of Shelton, summered in Wakefield, N.H., jet electrician with the U.S. Air Force, employed at Burroughs Corp (Unisys) in Bridgeport, instrumental in the installation of the first Derby Dan, died Aug. 11, in Griffin Hospital.

Born March 5, 1932, in Lowell, Mass.

Predeceased by parents, Berton and Helen (Johnston) Bryant, his sister Helen Kessler, and Carl Viola.

Survived by his wife, Lois (Wakelee) Bryant, three daughters, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and his dog.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
