The state Department of Transportation is planning to begin resurfacing of Route 111 in Monroe Sunday, Aug. 30. The work is expected to take about five days, and will include lane closings.
About one mile of Route 111, between Ryegate Terrace and Cross Hill Road, will be milled and repaved. Milling work will commence Aug. 30 and should conclude by Tuesday morning, Sept.1. Paving will begin a week later, Sept. 8, and and the morning of Sept. 11.
The schedule is subject to change and weather delays, the DOT reported.
