Tillman shares his story at AARP meeting

James Tillman spoke about his book “The Power of Conviction” at a recent meeting of the AARP Chapter 3240 at Shelton’s Senior Center. Tillman told of his 18 years spent in prison due to a wrongful conviction. He was the first person in Connecticut released through the use of DNA, according to a press release. He is now pursuing a degree in social work at Goodwin College in Hartford.
