Girls soccer: Shelton, Cheshire draw

The Shelton High girls soccer team recorded its third draw of the season on Tuesday, deadlocking Cheshire 2-2 in an SCC Housatonic Division matchup.

Juliane Niedzwiecki scored in the 25th minute and Sarah Skoronski, with Niedzwiecki providing the assist, netted a goal in the 60th minute for Shelton.

Saige Bingman had both of the goals for Cheshire, including the equalizer in the 74th minute.

Courtney Litts made three saves in net for the Gaelettes, while Shelby Offord made one.

Shelton moved its record to 0-0-3 (0-0-2) and Cheshire to 1-2-1 (1-1-1).
