Make reservations for pasta night fundraiser

A pasta night fundraiser for Haiti’s Hands Together will be held on Monday, Oct. 5, from 6-9 p.m., at St. Catherine of Siena Parish’s McClinch Family Center, 200 Shelton Road, Trumbull. Father Tom Hagan OSFS, who founded Hands Together in 1986 will be the featured speaker and will speak about the work that has been done in Port Au Prince, Haiti and specifically in Cite Soleil, which is known as the worst slum in the Western Hemisphere. HT provides 10,000 hot meals per day, 200,000 dry meals per week, has opened eight schools and provided irrigation systems and agricultural assistance for the poorest of the poor in Haiti. Father Hagan is regarded as “a legend among the Oblates” and the Christian Science Monitor referred to him as “the Priest who ventures where others no longer dare.

Catering is being done by Vazzy’s, reservations need to be made by calling 203-377-0297 or e-mailing [email protected] and the suggested donation is $15 per person.
