Dominic Ginnetti, 92, of Shelton, owner and operator of Ginnettis Clam Box, died Oct. 17, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Born in Follansbee, West Virginia; former member of the Knights of Columbus, sheriff in the Bridgeport court system.
Predeceased by his wife, Julia Latanzi Ginnetti, parents, Giuseppe and Esther Amela Ginnetti, and a sister, Lillian Acavello.
Survivors include a son, Joseph P. Ginnetti and his wife, Barbara of Shelton, a daughter, Nancy Still of Shelton, a brother, Joseph Ginnetti of Trumbull, two sisters, Jennie Pellegrino of Fairfield and Bessie DeMaio of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four dogs. Services: Tuesday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton. Visiting hours: Monday, 4-8 p.m.
