Dr. Monica Jain of Live Lite Internal Medicine of Fairfield County will present a Health & Wellness Seminar on Taking Control of your sugar — understanding Diabetes; and Controlling your Blood Pressure — managing Hypertension on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10:30-11:15 a.m., at Spring Meadows Senior Center, Trumbull.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and light refreshments will be served.

Monica Jain, M.D. specializes in primary care including preventative exams, chronic medical conditions, school physicals; obesity and weight management, nutritional & behavioral counseling and women’s health. She currently is accepting new patients. Same day appointments also are available and most insurance plans are accepted.

About Dr. Jain

Dr. Monica Jain is a primary care physician with 15 years of experience in internal medicine. She practiced primary care in Fairfield for 10 years with Fairfield Medical Group, and with Westport Family Health for two years, before establishing Live Lite Internal Medicine in Trumbull, with plans for a location in Farifield.

Dr. Jain is well experienced in providing care for chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, copd, osteoporosis, anxiety & depression. She also specializes in weight management. She strongly believes in preventative medicine and helps her patients take responsibility for their own health. She has helped several patients work on life style enhancements & weight control thereby reducing the need for medicines. She also provides support to her patients with dietary & behavioral counselling. She spends time carefully listening to the needs of her patients and evaluate personal circumstances & stressors affecting their overall health.

Dr. Jain’s motto is providing compassionate care to her patients without compromise. She believes in giving back to the community via educational seminars, health camps, etc. She recently held a booth for free health screenings at the Indian Cultural Committee fair held in Fairfield in September 2015. On October 21, she will be delivering an educational seminar at Spring Meadow Assisted Living, Trumbull, to help educate seniors about chronic medical conditions like diabetes and hypertension.

She is a working mom with two kids and understands the challenges faced by mothers trying to juggle with their busy schedule. Her office staff is warm and welcoming. The office accepts same day appointments and is accepting new patients.
