The Shelton High boys soccer team celebrated Senior Night with a victory over Sheehan on Monday at Finn Stadium to bring its season record to 8-4-1.

Senior Liam Keary started the scoring for the Gaels with a header off a free kick from senior Connor Kristiansen in the first half.

Connor Prindle scored in the second half on a penalty after Mikey Sciortino was taken down in the box.

The Titans drew to within one when Andrew Caplan scored in the 62nd minute.

Twelve minutes later, Prindle fed Sciortino on a breakaway to seal the win.

The Gaels play again on Wednesday against Daniel Hand (10-1-1) at 7 p.m. in Madison. Shelton was the last time to defeat Hand in the regular season, back in 2013.
