HAN gets a ‘Key to the Past’ at new antique center

It was a busy day and we made some great finds on Saturday when the HANtiques Roadshow pulled in to East Haven’s Key to the Past Antique & Design Center. (Watch the full video above or see each interview below).

Emil and Judith Serrano, long-time antique dealers, celebrated the businesses grand opening event on Saturday, Dec. 5.

We spoke with long-time dealers who shared their love for bygone eras and some unique items, including a 100 year-old BB gun, Hollywood memorabilia, an unusual coffee mug and man cave-friendly gifts. Key to the Past also features local artists and designers.

We also spoke to an appraiser who shared stories of his most interesting finds — including a real human skeleton used in medical studies. A customer with an original Salvador Dali print also stops by.
