Two Pedestrians struck by a vehicle near Coram Ave. and Hill St.

On Dec. 15 at around 5 p.m Shelton Police received numerous 911 calls reporting that two pedestrians had been struck by a vehicle in the area of Coram Ave. and Hill St.

Shelton Police and EMS responded to the scene, where an adult female age 46 and juvenile female age 10, both from Shelton, were transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for injuries they both received as a result of the accident.

Officers have spoken to the female operator of the vehicle, age 66 of Seymour.

Shelton Police Department Traffic Division is currently investigating the incident.
