Shelton Fire Department responses

On Dec. 29 at 11:15 am the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from #88 Long Hill Cross Road. There was no fire. smoke from a malfunctioning heating system caused the alarm. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On Dec. 29 at 4:34 pm the Pine Rock park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at #60 Ojibwa Trail. There was no fire. The alarm was accidentally activated by the homeowner. One engine responded.

 

On Dec. 29 at 5:40 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at the Spooner House at #30 Todd Road. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On Jan. 1 at 6:05 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Isinglass Road. One engine responded.

 

On Jan. 1 at 6:02 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at The Ripton Housing Complex at #423 Howe Avenue.  Smoke from a burnt pot holder caused the alarm. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On Jan. 2 at 12:23 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #49 Honeybee lane for a report of a smoke coming from a dishwasher.  No further information was reported. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On Jan. 2 at  1:01 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 Northbound in the area of exit 13. No further information was reported. Two engines responded.

 

On Jan. 2 at 1:08 the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to the corner of Center Street and Oak Avenue to clean up fluids spilled at a motor vehicle accident. One rescue trucks responded.

 

On Jan. 3 at 10:22 am the Huntington Co. #3 responded to Huntington Street at Maple Lane for a tree on fire. One engine responded.

 

On Jan. 3 at 3:03 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an automatic fire alarm at the Sinsabaugh Heights Housing Complex at #187 Meadow Street. No further information was reported. One engine and one rescue truck responded.
