Girl Scouts of Connecticut needs volunteers in Trumbull for girls in grades K-5.
According to findings from the Girl Scout Research Institute (GSRI), the majority of volunteers feel that their own Girl Scout experience has helped them both personally and professionally. Every adult who volunteers for Girl Scouts brings fun new experience to at least five girls.
As a girl-led and volunteer-based organization, Girl Scouts of Connecticut relies on volunteers to make their programs and activities possible. Adults who are interested in making a difference in a girl’s life are encouraged to become a volunteer.
According to a summer 2014 poll by GSUSA, 94% of Girl Scout volunteers have made new friends and 88% found that their lives are better because of Girl Scouting.
