The Fairfield Network of Executive Women’s Feb. 10 meeting has been cancelled due to the weather.
Emily Carter, state director of the Connecticut Small Business Development Center, will present “The Evolution of the Woman Entrepreneur,” during the next meeting of the Fairfield Network of Executive Women on Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 6-8:30 p.m., at The Norwalk Inn, 99 East Avenue, Norwalk.
This interactive presentation will travel through time highlights in victories, challenges and progress of women in the business world. The discussion also will include a perspective of what the trends and future breakthroughs look like in the years to come.
The CTSBDC provides no-cost advising services to both prospective and existing business owners to help them start or expand their business. CTSBDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, and the University of Connecticut. The SBDC program remains one of the nation’s largest small business assistance programs in the federal government with a proven track record of providing almost 35 years of service to small businesses.
Cost is $25 for members, and $35 for non-members. Walk-in guests welcome.
