In Milford last night, St. Gabriel School parents got news that they had been dreading: A facilitator told them that the Catholic elementary school will close at the end of the school year.

A report about a man with a gun in Bridgeport sent a tech school into lockdown this morning.

A Fairfield man State police say was traveling north on the southbound side of Route 8 early this morning rammed into police cruisers and caused the highway to briefly be shut down.

On Tuesday afternoon, a northbound train coming from Grand Central Terminal hit an “unauthorized” car stopped on the tracks of Metro-North’s Danbury Branch.
