Haley Hudler, a freshman from Shelton, Conn., is getting ready to kick off the winter performance season with the Heidelberg University Concert Choir. The choir will perform its “Sun, Moon, Stars” program at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster, Ohio.
Hudler, who is majoring in Religion, is one of 56 members of the concert choir, the premiere vocal ensemble at Heidelberg. Open to students of all majors, the choir rehearses three times each week and performs in concert and for campus events throughout the year. Highlighting the performance season is a domestic tour in the spring and a performance of Handel’s Messiah as part of Heidelberg’s annual Christmas Concert at the Ritz Theatre for the Performing Arts in Tiffin.
The choir is under the direction of Dr. Greg Ramsdell, director of choral activities and assistant professor of music education at Heidelberg.
