Obituary: Margaret “Peggie” Sullivan Loris, 57, of Shelton

Margaret “Peggie” Sullivan Loris, 57, of Shelton, educator in the Norwalk Public School System for 33 years, retired from Nathan Hale Middle School as a Team Leader and a Subject Area Leader, wife of Richard Loris, died Feb. 5, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

Born in West Springfield Mass. on Nov. 29, 1958, daughter of Thomas Sullivan, of East Otis, Mass. and Palm City, Fla. and the late Margaret Gray Sullivan.

Besides her husband and father, survivors include three children, Ryan Loris and his wife, Carly, Daniel Loris and his wife, Jennifer, and Nicole Loris and her companion, Jesse Duncan, five grandchildren, 13 brothers and sisters, Anne Marie Carlson, Michael, Thomas, Robert, Stephen, George, Eileen, Mark, Mary, Paul, Kevin, and William Sullivan, and Amy Judy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Also predeceased by her sister, Lucy Sullivan Stoney.

Services: Tuesday, Feb. 9, 11 a.m., St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Burial will follow in the in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. Visiting hours: Monday, 4-7 p.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
