Obituary: Stephen D. Ford, 60, of Shelton

Stephen D. Ford, 60, of Shelton, aviator, superintendent of operations at Sikorsky Memorial Airport, husband of Robbin Wyatt Ford, died Feb. 7, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.

Born in Cambridge, Mass. on Jan. 26, 1956, son of Mary Hubbard Ford of Monroe and the late Daniel G. Ford; U.S. Army.

Besides his wife and mother, survivors include his sister, Diane Bodnar and her husband, Donald of Shelton, two aunts, many nieces and nephews, his dog and two cats.

Services: Friday, Feb. 12, 9:30 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Huntington. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Visiting hours: Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
