Police arrested a Bridgeport man Dec. 19 for allegedly robbing a gas station at gunpoint in October.
Kashawn Brown, 23, of Bridgeport was arrested in connection to the Oct. 7 robbery of Shell Gas Station at 99 Bridgeport Ave.
During the robbery Brown entered the station, pointed a handgun at the clerk and stole cash and cigars. Police Det. Ben Trabka said. Brown was later identified as a suspect by Bridgeport, Trumbull and Shelton Police. Brown was captured by Bridgeport Police on Nov. 15 and has been incarcerated since.
Brown was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and fifth degree larceny. He was held on $100,000 bond to be arraigned Wednesday.
Police have an arrest warrant for Brown’s female accomplice who is also incarcerated. Brown was arraigned in Derby Superior Court Wednesday and held on a court set $100,000.00 bond.
