Computer scammers targeting Fairfield County

Letter-to-the-EditorNEW

Busy scammers are targeting Fairfield County computers. Your computer develops a series of frustrating problems. An e-mail comes on your screen supposedly from from Microsoft, telling you to call the number on your screen and Microsoft will eliminate your problem.

After an hour of controlling my computer I was told not to worry about the cost ($250.).

The caller, with an India accent, is a professional hustler I left him on the computer and phoned the security service (Itok – Bask)  that protects my computer. They efficiently got rid of the malware and put my computer in better condition than it has ever been.

Microsoft doesn’t call…Don’t send money!
