Happenings at the Maritime Aquarium; Fighting the post-Oscars blues

HAN Arts & Leisure with Sally Sanders, Steve Coulter and the “Reel Dad,” Mark Schumann, take a look at movies, the arts and other events going on in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York — and the surrounding area.

This week, Kate Czaplinski is filling in for Steve.

First up, is Reel Talk with Mark. We discuss what you can do with a dearth of good movies of theaters. We talk overlooked movies and nominated movies that are now on-demand.

If you are interested in politics, baseball or other topics, our hosts explain how you can put together a movie festival of your own.

Finally, we name our “reheatable” picks — movies you can watch again and again.

Later in the show, Chris Loynd of the Maritime Aquarium tells us about the latest events at the Norwalk aquarium, all showcasing the wonders nearby in Long Island Sound, including sharks, seals and much more. The aquarium has also launched Lighthouse Cruises for adults.
