Obituary: Cecele M. Ramik Knebel, 99, of Shelton, formerly of Stratford

Cecele M. Ramik Knebel, 99, of Shelton, formerly of Stratford, retired operator for the University of Bridgeport, wife of the late Carl Knebel, died March 27, at home.

Born in Stratford to the late Stefan and Anna (Piorek) Ramik.

Survived by daughters, Carol Hardy of California, Judy Dlugos and her husband, George of Rhode Island, and Kathy Pomianowski and her husband, David of Stratford, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, expecting another great-grandson, a sister, Anne Jaroszewski, a brother, Dr. Richard Ramik, and several nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Services: Thursday, March 31, noon, Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, and at 12:30 in St. Mark’s Church, Stratford. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. Visiting hours: Thursday, 10-noon.
