Masuk High’s girls lacrosse team defeated host Shelton 13-7 under the lights on Friday.

The Panthers led 5-2 at the half and pulled away.

Gillian Cohen and Kelly O’Meara both netted hat-tricks, Morgan Pavlik and Erin Wooley each scored twice, and Kathryn Jelliffe, Taylor Lorusso and Gabby Beckett all added net-finders for Masuk. Goaltender Isabella Medaris made six saves for the Panthers.

Shelton got a trio of goals from Nicole Roberts, two off the stick of Jillian Ortoli, and one each from Shelby Offord and Danielle Kreitler. Goalie Amanda Bolduc made seven saves.
