Residents along Long Hill Ave. touched up their homemade signs they made alerting neighbors of the potential development.

The much anticipated public portion of the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting will continue in regards to a developer’s proposal to build 18 condos on the 4-acre property located in the residential neighborhood of Long Hill Ave.

The condos would be built on what is currently a single-family property at 405 Long Hill Avenue owned by Jack and Josephine Gaida. The proposal calls for three buildings of six units each in a development called Brookview Heights.

P&Z Chairman Ruth Parkins encourages residents to attend the meetings and voice their stance on proposals because without their input the board isn’t aware of an opposition. The Public portion will continue at the P&Z’s next meeting tonight at 7 p.m
