Obituary: Robert E. “Bob” Thomas, 90, of Huntington

Robert E. “Bob” Thomas, 90, of Huntington, mechanical engineer, husband of Annette Thomas, died April 14.

Born Nov 14, 1925; U.S. Army, World War II veteran, recipient of many medals and awards including French Legion of Honor Award Medal.

Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Tracey Thomas and husband, Matthew Sturtevant of Fairfield, and many nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by his wife, Nanette Thomas, his sister, Lillian Voytek and brothers, Leigh and William Thomas.

Services: Wednesday, April 20, 11 a.m., Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave. Visiting hours: Tuesday, 4-8 p.m., Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Burial follows service on Wednesday in the Long Hill Cemetery, 53 Middlebrooks Ave.,Trumbull.
