TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m — Opioids 101class for parents at SIS

The Shelton Police Department in partnership with the Board of Education, Shelton PTO, Greater Valley Substance Abuse Council, and Shelton Youth Services Bureau will be hosting a presentation for parents on May 9, at 6:30 PM at the Shelton Intermediate School located at 675 Constitution Blvd. North in Shelton.

The presentation is focused on providing drug awareness for parents. The presentation will provide information for parents to recognize signs of drug use and inform them about resources available in the community.

The Shelton Police Department will be sending out telephone messages using the “Code Red” telephone system over the next week. Information is also available on the Shelton Police Department Website and Shelton Police Department Facebook Page.
