On April 18 at 12:46 pm the White Hills Co. #5 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a brush fire on route 110 Leavenworth Road near Indian Well Road. One engine, one brush truck and one tanker responded.

 

On April 18 at 1:54 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a report of a house fire at #9 Pine Tree Hill Road. Upon arrival firefighters found a fire had occurred on a porch of a single family home. The occupant of the home had the fire out using a garden hose. The fire damaged the porch and siding. Discarded smoking materials ignited mulch in front of the porch which spread to the porch before being detected. Two engines, one ladder truck and one rescue truck responded.

 

On April 18 at 3:44 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from the Helen Devaux Housing Complex at # 91 Howe Avenue. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. Two engines responded.

 

On April 18 at 3:50 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rolling Brook Lane. Two engines responded.

 

On April 18 at 6:23 pm the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a car fire in the area of #2 East Village Road. Firefighters extinguished the fire that occurred as a result of the vehicle striking a utility pole. One Engine and one rescue utility truck responded.

 

On April 18 at 6:56 pm the Huntington Co. # 3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 north bound before Exit 12. One engine and two rescue trucks responded.

 

On April 19 at 10:32 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to the intersection of Toas Street and Weybossett Street for a power line down in the roadway. One engine responded.

 

On April 19 at 11:43 am the Huntington Co. # 3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 responded to a small brush fire on Shelton Avenue near the Peoples Bank. Two engines responded.

 

On April 19 at 12:22 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. 31 responded to a small brush fire on River Road near Quail Court. One engine and one brush truck responded.

 

On April 19 at 2:15 pm the White Hills Co. # 5 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 responded to a brush fire on route 110 Leavenworth Road near Indian Well Road. One engine and one brush truck responded.

 

On April 19 at 6:10 pm the Huntington Co. # 3 and the White Hills Co. # 5 responded to #505 Booth Hill Road for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

 

 

On April 19 at 6:50 pm the echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 responded to #127-131 Oak Avenue for a report of water flooding the house. Firefighters found the house vacant and water flowing from a broken pipe. The water was shut off. One rescue truck and one utility truck responded.

 

On April 20 at 7:37 pm the Huntington Co. # 3 and the White Hills Co. # 5 responded to a report of a brush fire on North Street near Thompson Street. No brush fire was found but firefighters found a campfire in the area caused the call. One engine, one rescue truck and one brush truck responded.

 

On April 21 at 2:08 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. 31 responded to # 55 Soundridge Drive for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Two engines responded.

 

On April 21 at 4:09 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 responded to a brush fire at # 1 Far Mill Crossing. One Engine and brush truck responded.

 

On April 22 at 8:09 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 responded to a report of smoke coming from the back yard of #569 Howe Avenue. Upon arrival firefighters found and extinguished a smoldering campfire. One engine responded.

 

On April 22 at 11:48 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 responded to # 8 Country Walk Condominiums for an electrical problem in the home. Firefighters found a loose circuit breaker, reduced the hazard. Two Engines, one ladder, one rescue truck responded.

 

On April 23 at 03:22 am the White Hill Co. # 5 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Beardsley Road and Dimon Road. Two engines responded.

 

On April 23 at 9:08 am the Huntington Co. # 3 responded to # 599 Booth Hill Road for a carbon monoxide detector sounding. Firefighters found unsafe level of the gas in the home from a furnace problem. Firefighters ventilated the home to a safe level. One engine responded.

 

On April 23 at 3:06 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 responded to a report of a brush fire in the area of # 722 River Road. One engine, one brush truck responded.

 

On April 24 at 4:54 pm the Huntington Co. # 3 responded to the Trumbull Fire Department at # 100 Shelton Road Trumbull to standby and cover while Trumbull firefighters fought a house fire. One engine responded.

 

On April 24 at Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to # 860 White Plains Road in Trumbull to assist Trumbull Fire Department at a house fire. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On April 24 at 7:45 pm the Huntington Co. # 3 responded to report of open burning in the area of Poplar Drive. No open burning was found. A fire pit being used in the area caused the response. One engine responded.

 

On April 24 at 10:24 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1, Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a report of a structure fire at #202 Prospect Avenue. The fire, which occurred under a porch, was out upon arrival of fire units. One engine and two ladders trucks responded.
