Shelton falls to Bunnell

The Shelton High boys basketball team dropped an 80-70 decision to Bunnell of Stratford in the first round of the Masuk Holiday Tournament in Monroe on Thursday.
It was the fourth straight game that the Bulldogs (4-0) reached the 80-point mark.
Ben Malay scored 19 points for the Gaels (3-2), who will play host Masuk High (0-3) in the consolation game today at 5:15.
Christian Federici scored 15 points, Casey Belade had 14, Chris Pawlowski nine and Craig Packnick eight.
Maasuk lost 83-53 to Norwalk (4-1) in the first round.
