The Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a car fire on route 8 northbound at exit 12. Upon arrival firefighters found the vehicle fully engulfed in fire. The fire was extinguished and under control in minutes.

 

On May 2 at 9:24 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to #54 Grove Street for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. A faulty smoke detector caused the alarm. One engine responded.

 

On May 2 at 9:28 am the White Hills Co. #5, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to #10 Fran’s Way for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Dust from construction activated a smoke detector. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On May 2 at 3:15 pm the White Hills Co. #5, Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to #10 Fran’s Way for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Dust from construction activated a smoke detector. Two engines responded.

 

On May 3 at 12:54 am the White Hills Co. #5, Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to the Town of Monroe to assist at a structure fire at #39 Downs Road. One ladder truck and a tanker truck responded to the scene and one engine responded to standby at Monroe Station #1.

 

On May 5 at 1:52 am the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a car fire on route 8 northbound at exit 12. Upon arrival firefighters found the vehicle fully engulfed in fire. The fire was extinguished and under control in minutes. Two engines responded.

 

On May 5 at 5:52 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to #18 Old Stratford Road for a car fire. The fire, which occurred in the engine compartment, was out on arrival. Two engines responded and rescue truck responded.

 

On May 6 at 6:20 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to the Helen Devaux Housing Complex for an automatic fire alarm sounding from Unit #15. There was no fire. Smoke from cooking caused the alarm. One engine responded.

 

On May 6 at 1:33 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of #781 River Road. Two engines, one rescue truck and one tower truck responded.

 

On May 7 at 9:43 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, Huntington Co. #4 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to #21 Red Oak Circle for a fire in a kitchen oven. The fire was out upon arrival. Three engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On May 7 at 11:47 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to #54 Grove Street for an automatic fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Two engines responded.

 

On May 7 at 1:22 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to #92 Heather Ridge to assist a homeowner locked out of the residence, while food was cooking on the stove. Firefighters arrived and gained entrance before any fire occurred. One engine and one rescue truck responded.
