On May 9 at 11:09 am the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from OEM Controls at #10-20 Controls Drive. There was no fire.  The alarm was transmitted accidentally by an alarm technician on site. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On May 9 at 3:42 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to a car fire at the intersection of Bridgeport Avenue and Shelton Road. Upon arrival firefighters extinguished a fire that caused extensive to a small vehicle. Three engines responded.

 

On May 9 at 4:45 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at # 10 Mountainview Drive. There was no fire. One engine and one ladder truck responded.

 

On May 11 at 12:49 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to #110 Winibig Trail to assist EMS with gaining access to a residence. One rescue truck responded.

 

On May 11 at 3:41 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to the Super Stop & Shop at #898 Bridgeport Avenue for a mulch fire on the side of the building. Two engines responded.

 

On May 11 at 3:56 pm the Huntington Co. #3 responded to Route 8 north bound near exit 12 to assist EMS with a patient in a car. Two engines responded.

 

On May 11 at 4:29 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 responded to a fire alarm sounding at #115 Yutaka Trail. There was no fire. Two engines responded.

 

On May 11 at 5:49 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 responded to a motor vehicle accident on River Road near Mount Pleasant Street. Two engines, two rescue trucks, two utility trucks and one tower truck responded.

 

On May 11 at 8:40 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to assist police at the scene of an accident at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Hill Street. Two engines and one rescue truck and a utility truck responded.

 

On May 12 at 1:28 pm Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to a brush fire in the area of # 555 Bridgeport Avenue. Two engines responded.

 

On May 12 at 1:33 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 responded to a brush fire on Bridgeport Avenue near Avalon Drive. Three engines and brush truck responded.

 

On May 12 at 3:13 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. # 5 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at the Shelton High School # 120 Meadow Street. There was no fire. The alarm was accidentally activated by construction activities. One engine responded.

 

On May 12 at 4:04 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 responded back to the scene of a previous brush fire on Bridgeport Avenue to extinguish smoldering debris. Two engines responded.

 

On May 13 at 6:35 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 responded to # 8 Laurel Lane for a fire alarm sounding. There was no fire. Two units responded.

 

On May 13 at 9:13 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at the Plumb Memorial Library at #65 Wooster Street. There was no fire. One unit responded.

 

On May 13 at 1:45 p-m the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1, Pine Rock Park Co. # 4 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to #10 Constitution Boulevard South for a fire in a machine. Upon arrival firefighters found titanium scrap metal on fire in the machine. The fire was extinguished within minutes. Damage was confine to the machine. Two engines, one tower truck and one ladder truck responded.

 

On May 14 at 11:35 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding from # 54 Grove Street. There was no fire. Two engines and one ladder truck responded.

 

On May 15 at 00:16 am the Echo Hose H & L Co. # 1 and the White Hills Co. # 5 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Howe Avenue near Brook Street. One engine and one rescue truck responded.

 

On May 15 at 4:01 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to Long Hill Avenue at Route 110 for a tree on power lines. One engine and one utility truck responded.

 

On May 15 at 4:30 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Long Hill Avenue at David Drive. One engine and one utility truck responded.
