Shelton High took second in the SCC Eastern Sectionals boys track meet in Woodbridge on Monday. The Gaels, coached by Mike Gambardella, scored a 108.5. Amity Regional won with a 174.5.
Patrick English captured the 400 meter dash title in 51.09.
Ed Radzion took home the discus title with a throw of 121-08 and was third in the shot put at 44-07.25.
Ethan Shuster was second in the triple jump (41-1), fourth in the 100 meter hurdles (15.85) and fifth in the 300 meter hurdles (43.54).
Zach Deptula was second in the 110 meter hurdles (15.41), fourth in the 300 hurdles (43.03) and sixth in the triple jump (37-07).
Jostin Cobb, Matt Bean, Camerin Gumps and Tyler Hansen placed second in the 4×100 relay in 44.66.
Jamily Burey was fourth in the triple jump (37-09.50) and 12th in the long jump (16-09).
Robert Dillon, Joshua Sacoto, William Simics and Joe Lombardi were fourth in the 4×800 (8:41.99).
English, Lombardi, Joe Wannagot and Bean were fourth in the 4×400 relay (3:33.70).
Dillon was third in the 3200 meter run with a time of 9:59.74. Simics was 12th (10:36.60). Matt Wells was 24th (11:08.09).
Cobb was fourth (11.37) and Hansen fifth (11.41) in the 100-meter dash.
Conner Kristiansen was fifth in the javelin (135-00), ninth in the discus (104-04) and 17th in the shot put (35-00.75).
Wannagot was fifth (2:05.46) in the 800. Sacoto was 13th (2:08.65).
Neeraj Badshah was eighth in the triple jump (36-11) and 10th in the 300 hurdles (45.68).
Bean was eighth in the 200 meter dash (23.49). Gumbs took 10th (23.64), Hansen 16th (23.93) and Robert Wood 23rd (24.67).
Lombardi was eighth in the 1600 (4:41.89). Matt Richard was 12th (4:59.58).
David Sicinski was ninth in the pole vault (10-00).
Cobb was 11th in the high jump (5-6).
Antonio Perez was 13th in the javelin (115-06) and 14th in the discus (87-09).
