Blood drive in memory of Stephen Medeiros June 4

Red Cross in partnership with Julia Markarian of Fighting Against Drugs Everywhere (F.A.D.E) will be holding a Blood Drive at Huntington United Methodist Church June 4 in memory of Stephen Medeiros who lost his life in a battle with addiction.

 

The blood drive will begin at 9 am and will go until 2 p.m in the church’s hall located at 333 Walnut Tree Hill Road in Shelton.

F.A.D.E. is an organization that is near and dear to Julia Markarian’s heart. Her son struggled with addiction for many years before it took his life. She’s made it her journey to educate and bring awareness to this disease. Drug addiction is preventable through the education of families, schools, communities, and the media.
