The Shelton Fire departments took advantage of a vacant home on Perry Hill Rd. to brush up on some training exercises. They practiced ventilating a home that is on fire by opening up the roof, reeling out the hose to extinguish a flames on the inside of a home, and more rescue tactics to assure their members can get people out of their homes safely.
