Mayor Lauretti honors Olde Ripton Club members

New officers were announced to the Olde Ripton Garden Club on Monday, June 6. The ceremony was held at a special 40th Anniversary Celebration in Shelton. The club’s new officers include incoming President Renee Protomastro, Vice President Joyce Donnelly, Secretary Martha Nosal and Treasurer Diane Moran.

 

Mayor Mark Lauretti joined the presentation with a special proclamation declaring June 6, 2016 Olde Ripton Garden Club Day.  The proclamation also honored the Club for 40 years of continued service to the community.

 

The Club is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in Shelton in 2016 with the theme “Growing Together. They have been sponsoring special programs throughout the year including the declaration of Orange Coneflower as the Official Shelton City Flower and an Anniversary Garden Tour on July 9.
